  • Accreditation Procedure

According to the policy* of EA “BAS” for ensuring the traceability of measurements, published in the official bulletin of EA “BAS” on April 2002, the calibration of measuring instruments shall be performed in the following manner:

  • In accredited by EA “BAS” calibration laboratories, or
  • In General Directorate “National Centre for Metrology”, or
  • In laboratories abroad, accredited for calibration of measuring instruments by a National Accreditation Body, signatory to EA-MLA for the relevant field, or
  • Internal Calibration, following the requirements of EA-4/02 "Expressions of the Uncertainty of Measurements in Calibration"
